Carlisle House will only change your medication on instructions from your GP. When you are admitted to Carlisle House we will discuss with your GP your medical needs. We will also discuss with you, your Community Addiction worker and your GP any requirements for a reducting regime to be in place for any of your medication. If appropriate you will be able to self-administer your own medication. You may be registered with Clifton Street Surgery (adjacent to Carlisle House) for the duration of your programme. This may apply to those who live outside of a five mile radius from Carlisle House. However, Clifton Street Surgery and Carlisle House will work closely with your own GP.
