Eco Therapy

There is a huge volume of research that indicates engaging with the natural world is essential to our physical and mental wellbeing.

Eco-therapy provides the opportunity to engage new and exciting experiences. We benefit, not only in terms of skills learnt, but also gained a real sense of achievement and satisfaction. One dry stone walling project, organised by the National Trust, proved so successful that we decided to expand into similar projects and extend it to all those who engage in the treatment programme at Carlisle House. Conservation or eco- therapy has no doubt a huge contribution to make to our well being and expands our sense of value and worth.
