family support

Carlisle House recognises the impact of substance misuse on the whole family. A range of services are available.

relatives support group

This group is open to all and provides the opportunity to talk about the impact of someone else’s substance misuse problem on your life. This group is facilitated by a staff member and meets each Tuesday at 7pm.

family support days

These provide the opportunity for those who have relatives in the Residential Therapeutic Treatment Programme to meet with residents and discuss various aspects of substance misuse, and to begin to rebuild trust and openness. These groups meet every fortnight.

individual/family therapy

Should you wish, individual family therapy sessions can be arranged for those whose relative is currently, or has gone through, the Therapeutic Programme at Carlisle House. Family therapy provides the opportunity to deal with the impact of substance misuse within the wider family and in a safe context.
